Delegation is the assignment of authority and responsibility from one person (trustor) to another person (trustee) to carry out specific activities (normally from a manager to a subordinate). In CIPAce, the person who delegated the work remains accountable for the outcome of the delegated work. Delegation does not require changes to access control settings of the user accounts. Trustor: is the person who grants authority or responsibilities to another person. Trustee: is the person who is entrusted to assume and the authority or responsibility from another person. Once properly configured, Delegation can automatically delegate tasks assigned to you in the future to other users of the system. It is the perfect tool to delegate your work to others when you are away, when you don’t have access to the system, or simply when you have too much work.
